Carolyn Dean is the Director of IntoFocus and InnerFocus Therapies.

Carolyn launched IntoFocus to provide health & wellness professionals with the business training & services needed to meet the everyday business demands of being in private practice. As a therapist in practice herself, she thoroughly understands the challenges and complexities that health practitioners face when running their businesses.

Carolyn had found that health practitioners kept coming and asking her advice on running their own practices. They had seen that after just 4 months in business with InnerFocus Therapies, Carolyn had a practice full of clients. Her practice has remained full ever since and she often refers clients to other practitioners to ease her client load. Other health professionals wanted to find out how Carolyn had achieved this so swiftly and effortlessly.

Carolyn Dean was the Federal Secretary for the Australia Hypnotherapist Association from 2005 to 2006 and held the position of Treasurer for the Business Buddies small business networking group from 2004 to 2005. She was accepted on the NSW Government’s Department of State and Regional Development “Women in Business Mentor Program” for 2004 to 2005. Carolyn has been interviewed on the North Shores Rhythm & Jazz radio station, and has appeared in The Dating Survival Guide and My Business magazines.

Prior to establishing  InnerFocus Therapies and IntoFocus, Carolyn spent over 10 years working in Senior Consultancy, Sales and Services roles in the IT Industry.  She worked all over the world including UK and Europe , India , South East Asia and Australia . Carolyn specialised in advising large corporates on how best to structure and sell their services.

When Carolyn decided to retrain as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Counsellor she found that the skills and knowledge that she had gained in corporate, made running the transition into running her own private practice incredibly straightforward and painless. She now wants to help other health professionals to maximise their private practice success.

Carolyn lives in Sydney Australia with her husband Gerry, son Callum & daughter Ciara.
